What Alethro is
Alethro is a free prescription cost estimator. You enter information about your prescription and insurance and receive an estimate of what you might pay. Estimates are based on publicly available pricing information and modeled assumptions, not your actual insurance contract.
What Alethro is not
Alethro is not medical advice, financial advice, insurance advice, or pharmacy practice. It is not a substitute for talking to your prescriber, your pharmacist, or your insurance company. Estimates may be wrong, may be outdated, or may not match what you actually pay at the pharmacy.
Verify any estimate with your pharmacy and your insurer before making a financial decision.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site to violate any law
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site or its data without permission
- Attempt to access systems you are not authorized to access
- Submit false or misleading information that could harm other users
No warranty
Alethro is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that estimates will be accurate, that the site will be available at all times, or that the site will be error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alethro and ArcLine Ventures, LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, including but not limited to financial losses from acting on an inaccurate estimate. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Alethro and ArcLine Ventures, LLC harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the site or violation of these terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois. You agree to that jurisdiction and venue.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
